Dr. Giovanna Perrotti

Dr. Giovanna Perrotti received her DDS and postgraduate degree in orthodontics from the University of Milan, Italy. Until 2018, she was head of the department of orthodontics and pediatric dentistry at the University of Milan and of the department of technology for health at the IRCCS Galeazzi Institute School of Dentistry, Milan. She is a visiting professor in the orthodontics program at the University of Milan and a senior lecturer in the advanced course in oral implantology at the IRCCS Galeazzi Institute School of Dentistry; the course in rehabilitation therapy and reconstructive surgery in implantology at the University of Milan; the advanced course in implantology at the University of Genova, Italy; and the master’s degree in digital dentistry program at the University of Insubria, Italy.

Since 2016, she has been CEO of Lake Como Institute, where she coordinates international courses and training in oral surgery and implantology, under the supervision of the founder and main lecturer, Prof. Tiziano Testori. She is a co-author of the book 3D Imaging and Dentistry: From Multiplanar Cephalometry to Virtual Implant Surgery Planning (Quintessence, 2016), and  has also co-written books on esthetics in implantology and guided surgery and immediate loading in the esthetic zone.

Perrotti is an active member of the Digital Dentistry Society and serves on the scientific committee of Dental Cadmos.
