Dentsply-Sirona concluded a Restorative workshop Tour with Dr Walter Dias from 4th- 6th November 2016 in the cities of Bengaluru, Mumbai & New Delhi. Dr Walter Dias is a Prosthodontist with focus on adhesive & composite dentistry. He has a vast clinical experience with over 40 publications & research abstracts, more than 300 presentations in around 50 countries on themes as diverse as direct and indirect composite dentistry, impression material techniques, dental anatomy, photography and presentation skills.

The course title was Advanced Restorations of Posterior teeth and it was designed to provide a comprehensive, modern & yet effective insight into Direct Posterior Composite Restorations. Objective was to present a highly aesthetic technique for the optimal handling of dental composites with effortless adaptation and contouring of the posterior.

All 3 cities witnessed a turnout of around 50 paid participants per program, who were practicing dentists and were doing restorative work on daily basis. There was a lot of interest for Dentsply Sirona’s sectional matrix- Palodent V3 and new composite material- Ceram X One Spheretec, both the products to be launched by end of this year and which were highlighted through this presentation. Hands on workshop participants gave a positive feedback about both these products.
